RO-Hockey League ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [A] REGULATIONS, CONDITIONS, AND THE RHL SYSTEM [A1] FACEOFFS [A2] PENALITIES, REGULATIONS, POWERPLAYS [A3] OFFSIDES [A4] TIMEOUTS, CHALLENGES, EMPTY NETS [A5] OVERTIME AND SHOOTOUTS [B] RHL COMMISSIONED CAREERS [B1] REFEREES [B2] COMMENTATORS [C] RHL EVENTS [C1] WINTER CUP (JANUARY) [C2] EASTER CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP (APRIL) [C3] SUMMER CUP (JULY) [C4] HALLOWEEN CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP (OCTOBER) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [A] REGULATIONS, CONDITIONS, AND THE RHL SYSTEM ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [A1] FACEOFFS Faceoffs determine who hold control of the puck and they continue the game, start the period, or start the game, as a whole. Faceoff locations are determined on the situation. If a puck is flung, kicked, or shot out of bounds, the faceoff will go to the closest faceoff point, determine on the left and right side of the rink, and the home or away side of the rink. If players disrupt a faceoff before it begins, attacks the referee, or pushes around the puck to prevent the referee from getting the puck, they will be given a penalty and a power play will be given to the opposing team. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [A2] PENALITIES, REGULATIONS, POWERPLAYS Penalties are given to prevent misconduct in games. Unlike soccer, penalties do not give a "penalty shot", they give powerplays determined on the severity of the penalty. Penalties such as interfering with the goalie in the blue goalie box will give a two minute powerplay to the opposing team, penalties such as spamming tools, threatening players, or any other disruptions to the game as a whole will give a five-minute power play to the opposing team. Rule I) Players may not disrupt the faceoff. (TWO MIN PP) Rule II) Glitching, exploiting, or hacking is prohbited. (FIVE MIN PP) Rule III) Players may not threaten other players. (TWO MIN PP) Rule IV) Non-goalie side players who interfere with the goalie will void goals. (TWO MIN PP) Rule V) Icing ends play and starts a faceoff. Rule VI) Offsides ends play and starts a faceoff. Rule VII) Non-goalie players may not wear goalie pads. (TWO MIN PP) Rule VIII) Players may not jump on the nets, unless apart of the goalie's side. (TWO MIN PP) Rule IX) Players may only use the stick and their body as tools, not gatorades. (TWO MIN PP) Rule X) Teams may only keep five players on the rink(goalies not counted) in normal play, if there are unfair numbers with empty nets or power plays, it is a penalty. (FIVE MIN PP) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [A3] OFFSIDES Offsides are enforced to prevent unfair advantages in the event that the puck is flung across the rink, iced down the rink, etc. Offsides will simply be put to a faceoff on the opposite side that the player was on. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [A4] TIMEOUTS, CHALLENGES, EMPTY NETS Teams may call timeouts, teams have a maximum of three timeouts per game, which last five minutes. A Manager, Captain, or Team Captain must acknowledge the referee of a timeout. Goals, penalties, missed-penalties, and anything else can be challenged by a team. Challenges will only be accepted from a Manager or Captain. A team may pull out their goalie, leaving an empty net, to allow another player to play on the rink, giving a 6v5 rink advantage however an empty net. Only a Manager or Captain may call this and the players must immediately switched out and in. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [A5] OVERTIME AND SHOOTOUTS Some games take longer than other games, some games may be tied and will lead to overtime. In the case of Overtime, the next goal gives that team the victory, despite the time, the time does not matter. Overtime can end with 6:45 left on the clock, time is not a factor. In the matter that no one scores in the Overtime, a shootout occurs, unless authorised otherwise. Goalies will be set up on both sides, players from both teams will take turns shooting at the net with the goalie in place to prevent a goal. If a team scores one in, the other team must score one in to keep the shootout going. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [B] RHL COMMISSIONED CAREERS ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [B1] REFEREES Referees are the officials of these match-ups and they must be just and fair. At any time, a Board of Directors member may suspend a referee from refereeing and bring the case to the Commissioner to fire them for not doing their job correctly. The Commissioner will fire any referees he wishes, although he must state a reason. Referees are paid five to ten ROBUX for their performance. TO BECOME A REFEREE, YOU MUST: - Acknowledge the rules of the League and the NHL - Take the oath of justification and conduct - Attend almost every League game - You must be actively on Oath of Justication and Conduct: I, swear by my life, that I will uphold the Code of Rules, the general conduct of a referee, the courtesy of fairness and justification for all games I am to referee, and I hold it evident and I accept all punishments and consequences given to me for breaking this oath and disobeying superiors. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [B2] COMMENTATORS Commentators are not a very needed role, however they create a great and exciting environment for those watching and the players who wish to hear positive things about them... or negative things. Commentators are paid from five to ten ROBUX per game, however this job is not in demand and it will take lots of convincing to receive it. You must be fully active, attend basically every game. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [C] RHL EVENTS ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [C1] WINTER CUP (JANUARY) The Winter Cup is an event that finishes at the very BEGINNING of the year, the final match of the tournament is to be played on New Year's Eve and it will create history for the victor.
