Going to home schooling for the remainder of the school year. I was already behind before I got sick two weeks ago and now I'm roughly a month in total behind. I'm not really one too bust my butt off to pass in school. I used to be that kid, but not anymore. If I do though, any suggestions ## ##### ##### I should take with home schooling? @xoniac
wtf i didn't know you had cancer, how long did it take til you got better? |
|

What I'm saying is I don't try in school and I really don't feel like trying to catch up and pass. I'm credit deficient as it is and if I don't pass every class this year and next, I won't be graduating on time.

i was EXTREMELY SICK and frickin felt like i had it but as it turned out my stomach was just literal swiss cheese from stomach ulcers. But I did have anemia from the blood loss and other stuff.

Just troll for the rest of the year |

The classes I'm currently taking kind of prevent that. For one two of them are a "need to be in class to know the work and what not" as they're basic piano and basic percussion(the two easiest classes I could take), and then my English 11 class is just fast paced and a lot of presentations and what not. My other classes aren't too difficult to catch up in however the three I've listed are what put me behind. My psychology class is somewhat difficult to stay caught up in as there isn't a ton of work and also relies a lot on being in class.

It's quite alright, if I don't pass this year I'll be dropping out of High School in October and getting a GED then pursuing to either join the Marine Corps. or a trade school/community college. I have three jobs lined up for me once I'm 18 already that are decently paying as is.

Don't drop out. Get a proper high school diploma. Home school isn't bad at all |

A month is easy to catch up to; each 2.5 weeks in school is basically practicing the same thing over and over again.

dropout and become bill gates |

Obviously, stop playing ROBLOX until its summer. |

Highschool is useless, anybody who tells you otherwise is brainwashed by schoolstaff.
I started college at 16 and graduated with a 2 year(Roblox censors the term) degree in 18 months.
Highschool is only good for a piece of paper, of which you can get from a GED, which if you're not going to be something like a doctor or a lawyer, it's not important.
All highschool shows is that you "completed something", and same with college.
Highschool counselors and stuff say dropping out is "a terrible choice", but yet they don't say that getting a GED negates all those effects. If you've ever filled out a resume, it doesn't ask if you have a ged, it asks if you have a HS Diploma or equivalent, not two seperate options.
You can get a GED in 16 hours, which is like 2 days at highschool. Orrr, you can spend 2 years of highschool and basically waste time.
In most states, you can't drop out until you're 16, so if you're that age you should be fine.
If you need more information let me know.

Whether I played roblox or not, it would make no difference in making up the work.

I'm currently 17.

However, in my state you're required to be 18 years of age to drop out.

It's 18 without parent consent.
|
|
|
The way it works in my state is that you parents must sign your legal rights over to you(must be 16-17) and at that point in time you're able to drop out, however after doing so you forfeit all health insurance and what not that comes with your parents holding your legal rights.

In Ohio, kids are not able to drop out of school until they are 18 years old, as stated in chapter 3321 of the Ohio legal code, as noted by LAWriter. Exceptions to the rule include students who earn a diploma before the age of 18, kids who are home schooled and teens who are employed.
