Communism is an economy type (command economy).
Communist countries up to this point have practiced totalitarianism (Yugoslavia) or authoritarianism (North Korea).
There's obviously more examples, but I'm just stating ones that came to mind. |

A communist country doesn't have to be a one-party state, they can practice any form of government they like. |
