I'm perfectly fine with not making a Skyrim but instead an Invader Zim--something that has an impact much later than it's release. I mean I'm not going to change the world or anything, what point in there is trying to please the very people I'm very much intending to offend for the sake of getting a message out there? That just breaks integrity. tl;dr: Grab Linus Torvalds' famous quote about NVidia at that one university, apply it to Twitch. I don't even really mind coming across as another Phil Fish. What does it matter in the first place? I'm just saying my opinion and creating a discussion in interactive form. I'm free and independent of all the troubles and restrictions that could really get in my way economically. The whole thing's free anyway. Both as in drinks and in freedom. No DirectX deal with the devil, no game engine from Epic or Unity3D, everything's all mine and 100% mine. My engine just talks to the kernel for anything it can't do itself, like any other program.
