///:[UNSC NAVY PROTOCOL]: United Space Command Handbook Navy edition • Ships are to be assigned to Captains or higher. The only exception of command over a ship is if a Captain is unavailable, in which case the next officer should take charge and carry out the orders you have received. • Do not take ships away from star systems do not deviate from courses set to you by your commanding officer. • Do not engage enemy locations directly with ships or vehicles. Keep a defensive formation around UNSC planets/systems/ground locations. • Do not shoot at civilian areas from orbit until ground confirmation has been given that the area is clear. • Do not fire at random targets (this includes soft targeting), await until the authoritative presence on the ship or on communications has authorized you to fire. • Landing the ship planet-side is forbidden. An exception to this rule is system failures when an emergency landing is required. • Incoming craft (i.e Pelicans) should be identified as friendly before being allowed to dock; neglect of this protocol could result in hostile or unauthorized entry of the ship. • If it is certain that the ship is either going to be stolen by hostiles or is in the process of being boarded by hostiles, the crew should take all possible action to destroy the ship before the hostiles can capture it. • Navy is responsible for the running of a ship or space related structures and defending it, other divisions stationed on such locations should not operate or use navy equipment and should be confronted when found. • E3| Crewman can use pelicans, O1| Ensign Can fly frigate class vessels. Only server CO or O7| Rear Admiral can override this.
