After the recent incidents, it is clear that the new "white chat" chat is NOT working! Children need to be safe in this game! With safechat, only a few select words would be able to be used or heard, so children won't have a problem with random strangers online! I had safechat while I was playing roblox as a younger kid, so why shouldn't these kids have it now? It's the only safe option, and will help protect roblox after the viral blows it has received over supposed ########## on the site. Kids are getting the app DELETED by their parents. Seriously. Deleted. That's extreme when it comes to Roblox's business. Roblox needs to address this now, and quickly. I'm not being a troll. This is serious. (And on the bright side, #s would be mostly gone for all of you annoyed by them.) Sign the petition!

Keep bumping guys. Oh, and if this gets ignored on here? I'm posting it on ########## to REALLY get Roblox's attention. Message as many parents, and other roblox users as you know for a SAFER roblox!

Can't even understand a single word a person is saying in-game anymore. Why not just censor every single word? "Order cannot exist if Chaos doesn't exist to allow people to learn from their mistakes." ~SilversoulX

@pink You could talk to other kids using super safe chat. I was able to manage. And besides, these parents clearly DON'T want their kids talking to strangers online, so why not keep the chat simple? It would satisfy the kid and the parent. Kid would be able to play, and maybe talk a little bit if they wanted, parent would moderate and know kid is safe, and everyone else just gets the regular chat and can go about with a semi-moderated chat, perfect for older kids and adults who want to chat in a safe way so as to not deviate from the "safe site" ideals of roblox. I know it'd be a little frustrating for older kids though, but in such cases, all the parent has to do is move the kid's age up to 13+ if they're comfortable with it.

I don't support. I mean, let the players under the age of 13 have the freedom to speak! Why should they be having the super safe chat? I say, replace it back with the "older" safe chat, since that was the only functional one that actually let players with safe chat still communicate and not suffer from tags. Also, players over the age of 13, should not have safe chat, having a little less safety, and only censoring the harmful words! Honestly, this should be going to both players over and under the age of 13, because at the moment there isn't really any difference and besides, most of this community is over the age of 10, so what's the point in keeping safe chat? Just censor the harmful words, and keep the innocent ones uncensored! With your idea, it doesn't satisfy me, because I wouldn't like for those under the age of 13 to specifically speak with a drop down menu, that's WAY too safe. Instead, let them have the freedom of speech, censoring harmful words ONLY! Thank you for taking the time to read this :D Sincerely, Thunder_063 (please don't bring hate towards me this is only my OPINION.)

@pink how do you think people managed to play during 2010-2013? The super safe chat was like the best thing because those who could chat could say almost anything, and if we were to say something bad it was just a simple [Content Deleted]. unlike now, because of the stupid 12 and under getting the ability to chat, we are doomed with all these hashtags. Support, i really miss a simple [content deleted] instead of a plague of hashtags.

@Thunder "I mean, let the players under the age of 13 have the freedom to speak!" That's the whole point of this. Those 13+ would have the ability to chat, and those under 13 would have to use the bubble chat with only a prescribed set of words for game chat. Currently, out of game chat seems to be handled pretty well. Under 13s can only speak to their friends on parties and other things. However, it clearly is not working. Just look at the recent news. Even with friend requests, these kids will accept any friend request that comes at them if a person is very "nice" in game. It's practically unsafe! Sure, the parents can moderate it, but things can very easily get out of control, and cracking down on filtering by # it out is not working! The #s aren't enough if this stuff is still happening!

@supernavo [Content Deleted] still exists for the owrds originally in the filter. Anything # is because its a new word added to the filter now that its "stricter", and its plain stupid! We're losing all ability to chat, people are STILL getting around the filter (especially with these new scripts where there's chat guis. They existed before, but now they're even more advanced after roblox unlocked some of its chat properties in scripting. If it wasn't easy before, its even EASIER to bypass the system (especially in games with their own custom chats, as stated above), yet its HARDER to talk. The super safe chat system needs to return. It was safest for everyone. That being said, as a temporary solution for concerned parents, I recommend that if your child wants to play, DO NOT let him or her create an account. Go to www.roblox.com/games, have the child type in his or her favorite game on roblox.com, and let them play. You will notice that the guest has a random number in front of it as a guest player, and cannot chat with other users, both on the site and in game. Though it may not be of convenience at first considering the character cannot change appearance other than the by default appearances, it is the SAFEST way to play the game right now. Trust me.

Don't support. You make it sound as if the kids filter should come back for everyone, and the end of 'And it would remove the #s' is your way of hiding that.
