any of Nintendo's content. This will possibly be one of the most controversial suggestions I've ever posted in S&I, but I'm prepared for the aftermath, so go ahead. Be prepared because this is a LONG one. If you don't want to read this entire thing (and have a vague explanation), scroll down to the "TOO LONG; DIDN'T READ" portion of the post. Thank you. IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE: Yes, I am aware that this will remove quite a lot of games on the site, but it's almost enough to get ROBLOX out of having a lawsuit before it happens. In my opinion, the one thing I care most about is RHS getting removed. I hope you noticed I didn't say "shut down any popular or top earning games that use content from Nintendo", because Nintendo is one of those companies that does anything they can to wipe anything that uses their stuff without their permission and it makes tons of money off of it through Developer Exchange. I also didn't say "shut down semi-popular games that uses Nintendo's content", because it'll pretty much be ignored. However, it is was getting loads of money while still using that of Nintendo's content, it'll be a reason to remove it from the site as well. I didn't mention SEGA, because SEGA is not as strict as Nintendo is, but they'd probably do the same thing. REST OF IT (+ COMMON ARGUMENTS): • "it's all under fair use don't be a moron" No, it's not under fair use, and if it was, that still wouldn't stop Nintendo in the first place. It uses their trademarked property and makes tons of money off of it. I do not have specific evidence covering this claim, but I am sure that no popular developer (by far) has contacted Nintendo's team and asked: "Hello, may I use some of your content for a game I am making online? It's not like I'm going to earn a fat stack of cash afterwards." If you didn't get any of this so far, here's something that's short but vague, targeting not only the ROBLOX staff, but the one place that won an award for BEST ORIGINAL MUSIC SCORE (rewarded for original composition and soundtrack), ROBLOX High School by the RHS Team: https://twitter.com/ZiftoRBLX/status/825517171715371008 But let's be honest here; it's the staff's fault for having that category there. By their logic, they assume that the RHS Team composed all of that music themselves. I did see a post by a well-known ATRer by the name of Wustard (shoutout to him, by the way) say something about Cindering considering to have an original soundtrack in RHS. If anyone has any further proof of this, please reply with evidence containing that; it probably might get the RHS Team out of this pickle and contradict this lengthy post. I'm sure the vast majority of users are fully aware of Pokémon BrickBronze, which is claimed to be a 1:1 ROBLOX clone of an actual Pokémon game that uses ACTUAL POKÉMON MODELS/MESHES RIPPED STRAIGHT FROM.....Pokémon GO, I believe? I'm not exactly sure, but it was probably ripped from a different Pokémon game. There's other games that use Nintendo's trademarked content for money other than the ones mentioned here, such as: - games strictly revolving around Pokémon (ROBLOX Pokémon GO, BrickBronze which was mentioned earlier, etc.) - games strictly revolving around Mario (now THAT is big enough for a lawsuit) That sort of thing, especially ones strictly revolving around Mario---that's a huge problem. • "but what about games based on the premise of smash bros or even kirby" I'm glad you brought that up, Commonly Average Replier. - I do know that some SSB-related games are in development, like SmashBlox, but luckily for the team behind it, Nintendo does not yet know about it (....or do they? *cue dramatic sting*) - And as for the Kirby part of the reply, we have not yet seen any popular revenue-earning Kirby game on this site so far, but if you do have proper files or this, please link me to it. I would humbly appreciate it. • "what about the survive the disasters series" Well, that uses music from multiple companies, much like Smash in a way. Though it is popular, it uses a little less of Nintendo's content and more of SEGA's, which I mentioned earlier is pretty low in terms of legal actions. • "TOO LONG; DIDN'T READ"/"tl;dr" + ENDING: Refer back to the title and the first sentences that continues and/or corresponds with it. • BONUS! (POSTSCRIPTS/P.S.): I think I may have left a few factors out. Drat. Oh, well. Let the war begin. Also, I'm not joking. You probably may have known that at the beginning. Last thing I want to bring your attention to is this thread: https://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=208422577 Please support it. You'd be making a huge difference. • "you want to help roblox get out of getting a lawsuit why are you bringing up this thread" It does that. If the RHS Team or the ROBLOX staff themselves deny it, then there will be a possible lawsuit, and in my honest opinion.... ....I'm okay with. With that being said, you're in luck because I stopped writing out this essay.

@Lego They probably don't know about this yet, but people are already petitioning to inform Nintendo about this. https://forum.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=208422577 @happy Slight chance they might or not, but it's better safe than sorry.

Why not make the creators remove the Nintendo content?

Make them remove it. If they don't, then #### down the game.

@Mzike "If you don't want to read this entire thing (and have a vague explanation), scroll down to the 'TOO LONG; DIDN'T READ' portion of the post." @Drewagn They're a pretty important company, so, yeah... @DailyRoLord That could be an alternate idea, but the creators would have to find a way to remake their entire place if it's all based on Nintendo's property, and as for shutting the place down, like I said in the original post: "I didn't say 'shut down any popular or top earning games that use content from Nintendo', because Nintendo is one of those companies that does anything they can to wipe anything that uses their stuff without their permission and it makes tons of money off of it through Developer Exchange."

Not necessarily. I think ROBLOX High School also has music that they didn't take from Nintendo

@DailyRoLord RHS does have music from Nintendo. Looking back at my tweet: https://twitter.com/ZiftoRBLX/status/825517171715371008 RHS has music from Animal Crossing: City Folk, property and trademarked by Nintendo. You can listen to its entire OST and you wouldn't really hear a difference.
