The year is 2037, a few years deep into the endless winter. Many of those who had survived the initial bombing have died off and are spread thin throughout the country. Those who are still alive must survive by any means possible, or at least Tim B. (censorship, had to be abbreviated) believed.
Food, weapons, and ammunition is scattered, almost out of reach. Those who wield supplies stood as both a threat and a target. Brooks believed that in order to stay alive, he must take what he wanted; there was no room for sharing.
After sometime this became a lifestyle. Soon enough, other survivors who had a similar mindset banded together. The rag-tag group found themselves wandering, taking as they please--resistance was usual, a member or two would be lost ever so often.
The year is 2039. The group caught traction, but still had no home turf. This allowed the out-laws to stay generally low-profile. The group had strength in numbers--you don't usually find a Snow Horn wandering alone. But nevertheless, the group still had a "every man for himself" mentality. Group members often fought over findings and "let go" weaker members.
Despite the lack of uniform throughout the group, Brooks kept a tight line of ranking to manage the circle, the higher the ranking, the better the equipment. After all, that was the only form of respect among the Snow Horns.
The group could be found wandering the winter-wasteland around the South Side farms and inner-city. Wielding makeshift weapons and rifles, the group preferred to stay out of most civilians' sight. They are often seen on the surface, rather than cozied-up underground. The Snow Horns primary targets are those who wander the surface alone.
Having no regards towards civil mutants, the Snow Horns let just about any walks of life into it's rankings. As long as you could use a knife you were welcomed into the group.
The name: "Snow Horns" caught on quickly because of the groups style of banditry; they come in, take what is craved, and are off in a blink, much like great horned owls.
Anybody who poses a threat to the Snow Horns could be considered an enemy to the group.

BASIC INFO:
While the Snow Horns ARE a bandit organization, they are not trigger-happy murderers. We rather take what's in your pockets than your lives.
All weapons and gear is from yourself, we do scavenge but do not supply weapons to each other. This means we may take gear from others and use them, but we do not "standard issue" any weapons by any means.
The Horns do not mug or put everyone at gunpoint--it's only when needed or provoked. Keep in mind most of the group will use brutal force to get what they want.
We are survivors, which means we may travel. The Snow Horns can be seen all across the nuclear winter, but often if not always stick together. When there's one, there's many.
The Horns may temporarily claim a certain area as their "turf", this means it could be for a few nights or a few months. These areas are often stayed away from by civilians looking to stay out of trouble.
As survivors, we generally do not allow the mutated into our circle as we fear all mutants may spread the virus despite their RAD-level. This being said, you could still find some them in our rankings.
We have no uniforms but we do have what could be considered a "gang sign". Two hands are put in the universal "ok" sign touching the tip of the other thumb.
