Hello there. This has been talked about and discussed for some time now and its a thing that is ongoing in Starlite. I am now making it public.
Starlite Corporation is soon to have a new base.
I have devised all information needed in 3 segents:
1. LORE
2. OBJECTIVE
3. NEW FUNCTIONS TECH WISE

The facility will take place on Planet Traksan. Traksan is the training planet where all new cadets and people who wish to join the ranks of Starlite Corporation train. The facility or base will be called: "Facility Base Merit" or "Facility Merit" - the name is yet to be decided but it will be one of the 2.
4 months ago 2 Iron Corporation Triremes battle-cruiser ships were plundered from an Iron Corporation remote shipyard by a pirate group. Iron corporation is one of the many military manufacturers for The Starlite Dominion.
The 2 stolen ships and 1 more pirate ship appeared in the orbit of Terranova, due to the jamming signal emitted by the numerous facilities and bases on Terranova(We want to have the place a secret after all) the raiders mistook the readings for a secret Mining base or facility, and they thought they could make some fast money by looting the Jade from the facility.
To the Pirates surprise they ended up on top of one of the training facilities that Starlite has and soon they got engaged in a fight in the planet atmosphere. The Raiders faced 4 Drakkan Ground to Orbit defense cannons and several missile pods and a lot of angry Starlitians. 1 of the ships got blow in half and it crash landed on the surface near the facility, the other ship had its engines damaged and cant make a run for it, seeing how it has no options left before its inevitable doom, the pirate captain ordered the ship crew to fight until the death.
======[\\: OBJECTIVE
The base objective will have a vary option. The development team will work on 3 base options.
1. Normal Terminal capture and hold
2. Kill objective - First team to Said amount of kills wins
3. Domination - 3 control points located around the map. Each control point that is owned generates capture points. First team to said amount of Capture points wins.
This being said the first primary option will be the Domination and the terminal and kill objective will be incorporated among the way with future updates.
The 3 domination points are as follows:

CP1 - The Training facility - Will simulate raiding/attacking a base-- /e2darr
CP2 - The Generator facility - Will simulate Trench warfare to a degree-- /e2db32
CP3 - The Communication/Jaming tower - Will simulate Close Quarter Combat fighting-- /e2db8i

The terrain will be a mixture of Roblox Terrain and Triangle terrain with normal base terrain for mountains and other details.
The map in general: /e2dpaw
The map will be Symetrical and it is intended for a player base of 40 - 50 players.
This being said there may be some small advantage at some locations favoring Starlite side. Things will be balanced out as much as possible.
Current speculation and thought of teams...
Given the fair spawn advantage that will give a pretty significant advantage to anyone who is outnumbering the other team so to keep things even we will incorporate a raider limit cap.

If 40 players max
Raider limit cap at 24 - meaning 24 raiders max vs 16 Starlite on a possible full raider server.

If 50 player max
Raider limit cap at 28 - meaning 29 raiders max vs 21 Starlite on a possible full raider server.
======[\\: NEW FUNCTIONS AND TECH
The map will feature Roblox terrain for its base, instead of the classic brick terrain. It will also feature Triangle terrain and a interesting blend of all of the terrains and materials.
GUNS - Starlite has been developing and working on a next generation RCL improvement. We have reached that. Our head scripter has outdone RCL by far. He removed a lot of the RCL bugs that were featured such as bugs when shooting near a corner, wedges and etc.
HATS DO NOT COUNT ON HIT! - One thing that RCL has heavily suffered from is the hitboxes on hats, its a pretty simple solution yet nobody has made it... So now you may look stylish while killing the enemy.
VARIETY ON GUNS - There will be SMG's that feel like SMGS, Shotguns that feel like shotguns should, Rocket launchers, Assault Rifles and etc. All in both Laser and Kinetic variations, Snipers that feel like Snipers, all the other stuff.
This being said - DAMAGE DEPENDING ON DISTANCE AS WELL AS ACCURACY! - Accuracy is being developed to a system where if you shoot too much the guns get more inaccurate for a long range fight after the 5-6th shot. This being said, each gun will have its own perks and uses.
EXAMPLE: SMG's deal 14 damage to targets that are within 30 studs, while targets outside of the 30 studs range have a decaying damage AKA target that is at around 100 studs will be hit for 8-9 dmg.
These guns variety's will be for everyone to be able to use.
VEHICLES -
Vehicles that can be bought and used:
Assault Helicopter - A small variation of a helicopter that can be used from both Raiders and Starlite.
Assault Mechs - Mechs are a thing that Starlite has had and has used since 2011 at most of our bases, we are very excited to bring this piece of technology back into working action once more.
Tanks - pretty self-explanatory
CLASS SYSTEM - There will be a few classes to choose from. This being said each class will have a primary feature and a weapon they can choose as a side option.
This is concept so far:
Medics - 100 health - have option for MHR and a Combat shield for their class.
Assault - 100 health - has the option for a Combat shield, Personal shield, Assault/Jump pack and other features.
Recon - 70 health - has the option for cloaking and use of more powerful sniper rifles.
Pilot - 90 health - has the option to pilot any of the vehicles as well as repair the vehicles.
There will be a load-out personalization where you will have several slots to choose from, in your spawn area or on deployment you can choose the customization menu.
Multiple modes map. The base may have the feature of multiple options as discussed in the "OBJECTIVES" tab.
All of this discussed, the new base is expected to be out somewhere late Febuary or March.
During that time we will also lunch our revamped Initiation obby, a Standalone Starlite game to bring more people to the community and continue to work on improvement and betterment of the community and Starlite.
