Just for easier access. Download game, put on desktop, now you can play Prison Life in just one double-click! I like putting my Non-Steam games on Steam, and it'd be cool to have all my favorite ROBLOX games added on there. (add support to steam overlay also)

It's a multiplayer world, so why bother making an offline version? We're just stuck with NPCs.

We wouldnt download all the assets, but rather almost a shortcut of sorts maybe? Or a very comlexly compiled version of the game?

acutally think out the idea. If its a multiplayer game, you cant do it offline.

This is actually possible. They just have to make a shortcut that runs a bit of code that launches a ROBLOX game and sends you into a server. Support.

you can already do this with launch arguments btw, you can even join roblox games during maintenance!

Your account should seriously be deleted if you talk about "BUT MUH EXPLOITERS" without knowing at least one programming language. I mean seriously. He's asking for a shortcut to join an online game. No part of the game itself is saved on your computer, it's just like having the play button for your favorite game on your desktop. Ignore everyone here saying you can steal games or "they'll find a way" because, no. Just no. They are wrong. I support.

you can make your own by getting the command to start up a server with roblox player. learn how to use the api and then send a place opening request to roblox player, thats how roblox does it in the website

i dont know how to do that myself because i havent went too far into it but it shouldn't be as difficult as it sounds, i do know thats what it does though because of the fact that on my browser and OS, it warns me about the website requesting to run a command on the roblox player after opening it

it would be no harder to steal than any other game, the play button on roblox launches roblox player with a command to open the specified place. you can run that command on launch with whatever you want.
