I support.
I'd hate if people took my builds and passed them off as their own, so I understand people must be annoyed if someone copies and pastes their outfit to make a few Robux.
Just add a "Report Stolen Clothing" option, include a link to your original outfit, and Roblox will check it out to see if it qualifies as stolen, compare which was made first, that kind of stuff.
Anti-plagiarism programs on the internet compare a bunch of words together to see how many matches there are, so Roblox could juts automate the process by comparing pixels. If a shirt shares 70% of the same pixels as another outfit, whichever one was made later will be locked until Roblox comes and checks it out. Granted people could get past this by just colorswapping things, so then Roblox would have to compare them manually.
Yes I realize this may not be the best way for them to do it, but it's a start.
And if Roblox is gonna waste a bunch of money buying a broken filter, they might as well put that money and "effort" to good use for once. |
