Within his majesty's armed forces there are universally accepted rules which apply to every person within any branch of the military.
SEC #1 -- Chain of Command
- Address higher-ranks as Sir/Ma'am
- Salute higher-ranks
- Obey orders from higher ranks
- Respect one another
- You answer to your commanding officer first, and then other high-ranks
- Remain loyal to your HR's, your king, and your country
- The Chain-of-Command applies universally across branches within the service
- Politicians are to be treated as civilians unless they are significant in the service
SEC #2 -- Uniforms
- Wear the corresponding uniform for your rank
- Wear the uniform formality instructed by your CO
- Never operate on-duty while wearing civilian clothing
SEC #3 -- Equipment
- Only use equipment you are explicitly authorized to use
- Maintain order of equipment as well as its integrity
- Do not damage state-owned equipment unless explicitly authorized to do so
- Do not abuse equipment in any way or utilize it for things outside its intended use
SEC #4 -- Punishment
- Court-Martial(s) may be held to try anyone within the service in a court of law [If they've violated a regulation or at the whim of the HC.]
- Honourable Discharge may occur when a member is forced to resign but with honors
- Dishonorable Discharge may occur when forced to resign for a crime or ill intent
- Demotion may occur if found guilty of a court-martial or at the whim of the HC
- Suspension may occur if found guilty of a court-martial or at the whim of the HC
SEC #5 -- Commonly Used Abbreviations & Acronyms
CO - Commanding Officer
HC - High Command (Refers to any member of any board which supervises a branch of the service.)
CNB - Central Navy Board (Admiralty)
WOA - War Office Administration
NAC - Naval Air Command
XO - Executive Officer (Next-in-line to the CO)
Naval Craft Acronyms:
SSZ - Sea Scout Zero (Recon airship used in the navy.)
DD - Destroyer
DDE - Escort Destroyer
BB - Battleship
SS - Submarine
TT - Transport
