It's basically the best comic strip ever (in my opinion) and is he of the best works of art to not get any animated adaptation of some sort. Because if they are making a movie about stupid emojis, then they should make something for Calvin and Hobbes

^ this. Especially with revamps of old cartoons nowadays are just pure garbage. Calvin and Hobbes is best in paper. And if there were a reboot of it that ended up terribly; it'd just be another gem tainted by money... wasted.

No way, C&H was alright but it really doesn't deserve a movie. What we need is a new Peanuts Special or TV Show. Since The Peanuts Movie was fantastic, they need to bring Peanuts back into the mainstream! Yes a lot of the specials were dumb, (The Flashbeagle one I don't even know if I can stand watching) but there were some great specials! If they make a cartoon, I would definitely watch every episode.

We need more horror tv shows that are gory like the Wolf Creek TV series Also an invader zim reboot would be nice as well.

@epic Have you seen all the reboots for older shows being made? do you want invader zim's legacy ruined along with powerpuff girls, teen titans, etc. ?

Hmmm, that'd be an interesting challenge. I think it could work as a cartoon, but they'd probably have to update it somehow, just because I don't know how well the original subject matter and feel would work. Not that it wasn't great. Works great in the comic, but just putting it as is in a movie or cartoon might not transfer well.
