Let's note something, police brutality is not something that the federal government is completely in control of, that is like telling the CO of a battalion that he needs to control his soldiers, technically he talks to each lower officer then himself to talk to their subordinates to keep them under control.
There are plenty of way to repair and fix the police and you can look it up as there are actual real movements that request legislation on the state level (as this is a state level issue) to enforce body and car cams to make sure that police brutality is handled correctly.
and plenty more.
Note not at one point have I said that Liberal idealism is the most appropriate or the best way to run things as it is not.
Liberal created identity politics which is literally just label politics which is basically middle schoolers trying to directly talk to a group of people specifically with a bunch of not needed terms.

I was not the one that insisted they were logical, you pointed out that Republican goals are 'logic' and 'facts'. If you want to speak blatantly, those are the goals of the Democratic party as well. At least, that is what they constantly try to call out the Republicans out on.
You did make claims about anarcho-communists, you implicated that they had absolutely nothing to do with the leftist agenda which is not true. I stated that they were related to the Democratic party in their ideology, just as Democratic people categorize other tea-party individuals into the Republican ideology.
I am also an independant, it clearly seems we both made faulty claims assuming each others loyalties. Also, I did not directly or indirectly claim that I myself am entirely logical. Realistically, no human being can be precisely logical and declaring obvious fallacies that I even noticed when writing is just a weak move.

To start, the only claim I made about the anarcho-communists is that they had no bearing on the logical faculties of the Republican party. I never said they weren't leftist, and the fact they're anarcho-communists seems to suggest they're far left by definition. Of course, I do see where you're coming from.
I'll also say that it is entirely possible to address issues in a fully cogent fashion. Mathematics and logic (the branch of philosophy, though most continental philosophy is pretty hyper-rational) do this quite often.

There were a few protests that were not widespread, and they didn't destroy random people's property. The liberals are protesting(Rioting in many areas) in most major cities, and are making threats against government officials and attacking random people's property(Which is pretty illogical seeing they don't even know the political views of the property owner). |

Breitbart reports a black-bloc riot at Obama's 2013 inauguration, resulting in damage to personal properties and storefronts in Washington DC. Mind you, Breitbart is far right and has no reason to defend Obama.
Recall that the anarcho-communists at Trump's inauguration were also black-bloc. Take this information however you wish. |

If there was any damage it was an extremely limited amount and obviously there will be dumb people on most sides, but this time damage was wide spread and there were protests and riots all over the country. And Trump hasn't done anything bad yet. The temporary ban on high risk areas is a good idea, it's not a "Muslim ban" its a TEMPORARY ban on immigration from countries that are commonly associated with terrorists. |

Alright, changing your position in the face of new data is acceptable. Yes, more protests will invariably lead to more damage, simply because there are more people on the streets. However, how many of these protests are classified as riots?
All I can find is the riot in DC (black bloc), scattered incidents in LA, and maybe one in Chicago?
As for "Trump hasn't done anything bad yet", I would argue that depriving legal residents (green card holders, visa holders, US citizens having dual citizenship in a banned country) of their right to enter the country is considered a pretty bad thing. Not to mention that the ban was poorly carried out (Kelly learned about the EO as it was released, and the agencies in charge of enforcing it were kept out of the loop). |

With that in mind, I should probably add a disclaimer that I do respect the armed forces. My father's in the military, I considered it (decided against it, though West Point and ROTC were open opportunities for me), and at least one of my younger siblings would like to do so in order to pay for college.
It's a joke. The branches have jokes about one another. |
