Alright guys let's settle down
My personal opinion?
FoA is NOT TGI. There's a reason it's not. You can't bring back TGI. TGI possessed a community that is too good for this current clan world. To be TGI would be absolutely impossible because your community would be corrupted. There's no possible way you can restore it. TGI changed a lot over the years, evolving and then degrading at many different points. It was definitely a roller coaster.
I do think former Arcadians ( TGI veterans ) should receive some recognition for their previous actions. Without Brickster, FoA would not exist. Did he found FoA? No. But he and Doomknight created a clan that stood through many years and picked up a community that was worth saving. One that, in my mind, and in the minds of the people who founded FoA with me, deserved a second chance. For FoA to exist, TGI had to exist first. The entire concept was that it would be a rebirth for Arcadia and that the community could have a new home under leadership that had excelled in the past.
Seviro did definitely contribute to TGI in the past. He was a Field Marshal and nearly became a Lord, and he also ran TAG for a significant period of time. His past with FoA has been rocky. Of course, I do think that if he was to possess an Honorary Arcadian rank, he should do his best to respect FoA and not criticize it so vocally and publicly. Of course, I'm no longer the Emperor, so it's not up to me when it comes to who gets what particular rank, or how things are run.
You guys should just come to a mutual understanding here. FoA exists ONLY because of TGI. I didn't make it for myself. Reversonal didn't make it for himself. Shadownize didn't make it for himself. Blackmask? Not for himself.
It was for the community. The best community that this game had. |

Dystra the only reason FoA even did decent is because you dk-rided the heck out of the TGI legacy
You followed the same wars and relied on nostalgia

>VAK war- the war we flopped so bad on and since then have been struggling to keep the clan alive
The only original war FoA has had was a half-beat XI war and the 5 clan war under Bballer WHICH
RNW and TCC were >BOTH< on TGI's defeated list
The reality is FoA runs on the nostalgic image that it can someday reach the peaks TGI had already done.

FoA is a joke led an RAA friend circle, I wouldn't really call Platinum's work with the group phenomenal in any sense.
The same way Rodger slammed the nail into the coffin of TGI, Platinum did with FoA.

I respect Plat cause he's taking the clan away from the whole "We have to base ourselves off TGI" aspect
Hopefully he can continue and make it it's own identity, but so far all it's done is try to be a copy of TGI

Personally? Although I'm not sure what FoA is like now since I haven't been active to any degree ( other than making fun of noobys ) but when he first got it and I was present for the first three weeks, it was looking pretty great. Although there were some issues resonating from the past, they were handled and I was seeing genuine improvement. There were plans being made ( not an officer anymore, so not sure what's going on ) for something really cool as well that is to put it simply, a great idea
I do think Plat needs to get it back and secure his acct though, and start making progress on it again |

There's a difference between disconnecting from only focusing on the past and disgracing your legacy.
FoA will never not be connected to TGI. Platinum is just spitting on the entire reason FoA exists.

Also, a lot of the people making those "Really cool" ideas were exiled and harassed (Mikey) or just left.

Nah FoA shouldn't dismiss it's origins
That's what made it so great in the first place. As I said, you're never going to recreate TGI, so don't say "it needs to be more like TGI"
With respect to the values that TGI had, I do think FoA needs to do its best to remember those because that's what made Arcadia worth preserving. |

If he chooses to take it another course then I mean he got leader nothing to be helped by that, while I disagree with you being exiled at least it's cutting away it's connection from TGI so it can't sully that legacy anymore

It's always going to be connected to TGI. That's why I think FoA should do their best to honor and respect that. It's got a legacy it needs to work on upholding. They won't always be able to and there's gonna be bumps in the road ( there were many under me where I was disappointed ) but that's why you should always strive to improve.
TGI hit many terrible spots in its history but it kept going and improved. Did that many, many times.
