I can't change anything about it, I am just describing the situation from my point of view to try and give you all some insight.***

Due to some recent events, Roblox has had to quickly make their chat filter much stricter (for now) in order to better protect players - this is why you are seeing more "hashtagged" messages all over the site. The purpose of the filter is not only to block out swear words, but to prevent kids from giving away personal info to strangers, among other things.
Roblox is also having to quickly take down any games that allow players to enter unfiltered text, for the protection of their users.
As a reminder, NEVER GIVE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO OTHER PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET! That includes your actual name, actual location, social media profile, etc. You need to stay safe when chatting with others on the internet!
Roblox is required by law to filter communications to prevent younger users from sharing personal information, so don't take out your anger on them (or myself, or any other developers). It's understandably frustrating, but it's the law, and it's the way the internet has to work. They have to keep kids safe on the internet.
There are definitely a lot of things being incorrectly filtered, but that is because they had to immediately change the filter for the strongest possible protection. I'm sure they are working on improving the filter in the near future.
