We've all seen the chat filter decide to censor completely random words, but even the inclusion of certain symbols? So much as saying "Hi" In a RP can get hashtagged, while 'Hi' does not? I personally have switched over to ' instead of " because of more filtering nonsense. What I truly find odd is that the filter doesn't react like this consistently. Just my food for thought, and venting about the times normal things have been blocked for no reason. |

I've watched ROBLOX grow and develop for the past 8 years, and this is the worst it has ever been. Communication is near impossible.
Obviously the smart thing for ROBLOX to do would be to only enforce this filter on people under a specific age, the way ROBLOX actually used to work.

Support; not only does the filter ruin roleplay games/groups, it also ruins a lot of other games, such as Pokemon BrickBronze, and Apocalypse Rising. Half the things that should be allowed to be said aren't allowed. There shouldn't be a whitelist in the first place, there should only be a (not very restrictive) blacklist. It was simpler when we could just report people and get them warned or banned for a few days. ROBLOX is acting like the entire community is filled with fragile infants, which is unnecessary and offensive.

This is pretty much true. I've seen many of roleplaying games be taken down just because of custom chat or roleplaying names because of how strict it is. ROBLOX has even harassed ### (Anime #### ####### just because the chat or roleplay games. |

ROBLOX ain't losing any members! They've been gaining members faster than they ever have! Hundreds of millions! It's very many. Any groups and games that are apparently ending because of the filter probably deserve to close for being so sensitive to it. This filter is way better than a filter that lets people say the derogatory word for bum and the derogatory word for poop freely. And yes, the old filter permitted those words. |

People who make these death claims only state that it is dying when they get upset over something
they never have citations for it and most current mass reviews from reputable sources and rankings from said sources state that roblox is still growing

Also, the chat filter isn't growing the community, people are leaving because of the extreme hash taggings of Simple non-threatening words. I'm sure people will join when everything they say is tagged ((Not really)). If anything, this filter is ruining the community, disabling RP groups and also ruining gameplay. This is a online game, where alot of people come to socialize. They Can't socialize if every single word they say is hash tagged |

I support. As someone who plays a lot of RP games, I use bios to state the name of the character. Not to mention the fact that roblox LITERALLY once censored 'censored,' and 'moron' for me. |
