---[Scientific Ranks]---
When you first join the ScD, you are a junior researcher. You are basically an intern. Right now what you want to be doing is learning from higher ranked individuals in the ScD. Here is a list of ranks and what they do :
-Junior Researcher

-Senior Researcher
-Head Researcher
-Scientific Overwatch
-Co-Director of Sciences
-Director of Sciences
---[Promotions]---
Getting promoted in the ScD is not the same as other departments. You'll have to fill out report forums in order to be promoted. These have been updated and your specific ranks in the group are not specified (i.e. one player may have to submit more reports then another due to the quality of them.)
/!\Why is it so hard to get ranks? : Most personnel are set to rank 'Researcher'. This is because in a real life scenario, there would not be twenty 'Senior Researchers' at once. And to top it all off, keter tests are extremely dangerous and hard to contain. The last I want is SCP-682 constantly running all over the place./!\
---[Sending Tests and Applications]---
In order to graduate to a new rank, you need to fill out test forms. You can find the test forms on the department's main page. Where do you submit these applications? You send them to a Head Researcher+. No other ranks will accept your request.

Certain ranks have access to certain SCPs. As your rank in the ScD increases, your access to certain SCPs does as well. Here's how each rank works
-Intern:
Can test: Safe-Class scps
Testable subjects (Maximum Prisoners per a test) :1
Required supersisor : Researcher+
Specators allowed : Two, including your supervisor
-Junior Researcher :
Can test : Safe-Class scps
Testable subjects (Maximum Prisoners per a test) : 2
Required Supervisor : Researcher+
Spectators allowed : Two, including your supervisor
-Researcher :
Can test : Safe & Euclid scps
Testable subjects (Maximum Prisoners per a test) : 3
Required Supervisor : Senior Researcher+ for euclid tests
Spectators allowed : Three, including your supervisor
-Senior Researcher :
Can test : Safe, Euclid, and Keter scps
Testable subjects (Maximum Prisoners per a test) : 4
Required Supervisor : Head Researcher+ for keter tests.
Spectators allowed : Five, including your supervisor
-Head Researcher :
Can test : Safe, Euclid, Keter, Thaumiel scps
Testable subjects (Maximum Prisoners per a test) : 5
Required Supervisor : Scientific Overwatch for Thaumiel tests as well as approval from some one in the administrative department
Spectators allowed : Six, including your supervisor
-Scientific Overwatch :
Can test : Safe, Euclid, Keter, and Thaumiel scps
Testable subjects (Maximum Prisoners per a test) : 6
Required Supervisor : None
Spectators allowed : Six
-Director of Sciences :
Can test : Safe, Euclid, Keter, and Thaumiel scps
Testable subjects (Maximum Prisoners per a test) : Unlimited (Can bypass ethics committee consent)
Required Supervisor : None
Spectators allowed : Unlimited
/!\PLEASE NOTE/!\ : Site-Directors+ as well as both directors of the ScD do not add to your spectator limit. (i.e., If you had a limit of three, a O5-Council member could enter your experiment.)

While personnel are allowed to choose who can enter their test, certain departments can replace the lowest-class personnel in the room. (i.e., a ISD ###k##### there are three personnel, one level-4, two level-5s, the level-4 has to leave.) If there are two personnel who share a rank, the ISD ###ld decide.
These departments have this ability (and are rank as such) :
-Administrative Dept.
-I#####Special task force
-Intelligence agency
-Medical Dept. (The lead tester has the ability to negate this rank)
-Manufacturing Dept. (The lead tester has the ability to negate this rank)
---[SECURITY]---
Security does not count towards your spectator limit as long as there is no excess (i.e. the amount posted)
A certain amount of security is required for SCP classes :
Safe : One to two security
Euclid : Two to three security
Keter : Three to four security
Thaumiel : Two to three security
---[ETHICS COMMITTEE]---
If the ethics committee finds your test to be unethical, they are permitted to terminate the test. If you believe some one is abusing this, send your complaints to the Scientific Overwatch+. You will need to send proof (example : a photo, video, etc.) However, you will still need to comply with this. They are only permitted to terminate your test BEFORE it begins.
---[TERMINATION OF TESTS]---
If any member of an STF Unit finds your test too dangerous, they are permitted to terminate your test at any time. If you believe some one is abusing this, send your complaints to the Scientific Overwatch+. You will need to send proof (example : a photo, video, etc.) However, you will still need to comply with this.
