The Secret Service has a simple but professional disciplinary structure. All issues can be dealt with by Special Agent in Charge or higher. More severe issues are brought directly to the Chief of Staff, Deputy Director or Director.
Discipline in the Service can include, but is not limited to;
•Suspensions
•Demotions
•Dismissal from the Service
•Removal from a Senior Staff position
We expect all agents to act professional at all times and wear official uniform when on-duty. Punishments may occur for lack of uniform, grammar, being unprofessional, insubordination, disrespect, assaulting another citizen for no reason or leaving the White House without permission (AiT’s Only). Any other reasons may be dealt with should they occur.
