sure, there are very talented metal musicians out there, but that goes for every genre
i have no reason to believe that playing metal requires more skill than any other genre; it just requires a different set of skills than what would be necessary for, say, pop, rap, or (some) rock |

Pop and mainstream rap suck though imo.
Its too upbeat and repetitive.

also there's nothing wrong with upbeat music so i'm not sure why you're acting like pop and rap being more upbeat than metal is inherently bad |

Yes i have been or was in therapy As well as treatment centers The problem is that at the treatment centers they have way too many dumb rules and are strict and deprive you of the things that keep you sane like horror movies/gory/violent movies and computer/internet access. Plus in terms of my ###### ####### lets just say that it has gotten worse over last year. |
