(Docklands Police Department) Allowing Non-Lethal Equipment Petition Forum

Non-lethal weapons do not harm anyone. They are safer than the Pepper Spray and Police Baton tool that officers already get in the City of Harford. This may decrease abuse of officers killing others, because non-lethal weapons are safer than Pepper Spray and Police Batons. Non-lethal weapons such as tazers will stop enemies from running away and/or shooting others, making it easier to arrest.

Officers & above will be given a tazer tool, which is non-lethal. This does not remove any other tools from the Docklands Police Department team in Harford. Changing the training system because of the new tool is not necessary, though may be informative.

{ SUMMARY }
Many citizens are done with Docklands Police Department abuse. With less abuse, Harford will attract more visitors and make Docklands more known. Why not support this petition if it makes our city a better place?

But I would like it so that if this gets accepted that Major+ get non lethal tasers so that would reduce abuse with officers. I think this is necessary so that new officers don't tase random or innocent people. Since you need to work up to get Major+ I think officers by then will know how to use them.
The reasons why I support and adding a little change to your system.

The supports are coming from law enforcement officers. This most likely means that they want police to be more corrupt.

The pepper spray is abused like crazy my dude. I get sprayed for helping dpd sometimes, I can only imagine what tasers will do. *Walking* *tased* |

Devipity, not all officers are corrupt. Officers like me are aware of the abuse, and are trying to change it. Kareem, tazers can not kill but pepper spray can. |

Unreported corruption and abuse can't be tackled so you have a duty to report anyone you believe is abusing any tools. My messages are always and have always been set to public. |

I agree. But I believe only the DPD MR+ to have it for alot of reasons and I hope you guys support this idea so here are some.
So officers, fresh from the pack they don't really know much and they don't know how to use the proper tools due to the failure of the trainings not teaching the right equipment to use. Second, they don't even know the right things to say when pulling someone over sometimes. They kill people with a baton if they don't like them. Imagine a server of DPD officers only now imagine them not knowing what to do during a shootout and ends up tasing everyone which is annoying. Btw no offense to the officers put there and I'm not saying ALL just some based on my observations. |

#Support, only for MR Commanders. They are the highest "Non-HR Skilled" People in DPD.

Support. I believe that some abuse will come out of this. This is because since it is non-lethal, more people will use it to "troll" or "mess around" with some officers. That's the only downside. |

I think if Tazers will be put +Major Or +Captain, i think there wouldn't be that much abuse, and tazer was soooooooooooo much # helpful tool, now it's kill # shooting suspect or sprint to him and arrest, u can't stun them, and if theyre shooting you it's kinda eh. So HUUUUUUUUUUUGE Support! |
