Hello. I'm a 10 year Roblox veteran who has ran through four accounts so far. My first was in 2007 and was named "TurtleLover" or something like that with a bunch of numbers at the end because I was little and liked the things. Over these 10 years things went smoothly up until 2013-2014 when the 3.0 characters were introduced. I didn't really know much about the new players. I just thought their appearance was some kind of fashion trend at first. Something I noticed was that pretty much everyone with that outward appearance attacked everything that moved, and people who had the bacon-hair look were much more likely to hack and random kill than any of the 1.0 and 2.0 players. Then, of course, hacking became a common practice. Games were replaced with nothingness or twisted forms of themself. Players were giving themselves immortality. It was insanity. I stuck through Roblox with that. Then tix were removed. The Free-to-Play aspect of Roblox was just completely obliterated with the exception of some items from the catalog. I think this happened just last year. As well, Newest Levels was removed from the games list, and the Roblox icon was replaced with that hollow square. I'm not sure when the filter was initially added. I didn't really notice it much and I didn't play Roblox for a number of months here and there between my four accounts. But at the time it was easy to bypass with a ',#a## not everything was censored. Just stuff that made sense. Now the new filter's been put in place and pretty much everything is censored. I tried to type a sad face on a game with ) + , + : and it was censored. Roblox now forces a thought-police mentality on the players where you're denied free speech. You must always say happy, nice things. This just doesn't fit with the nature of some of the games. My answer to this issue is to allow game makers to set whether or not their game uses a filter, and to allow game makers to use custom black-listed and white-listed word lists in their games. This would allow people to say anything within reason as long as the game itself is okay with it. Thank you for your attention.
