Let's take a moment to remember all the actual, good, non dying for at least 56 pages RPs we made. Look at the Role-Playing forum. It's all joke and/or group threads. Remember when it used to be full of so many RPs you could choose from, and the group posts were ignored, as they were the minority? Good times. Good times. This is coming from a 2014'er,( although this account was made in 2015, I originally started in 2014) so I wasn't here on the forums for that long. But even I remember the good old, non joke RP and/or group threads. Let's take a moment to remember all the good times we had with our RP threads. C'mon, I'm not joking.

Honestly, I can't find any RP that isn't a post-apoc survival thread, has already been going for long enough that I would really just be interrupting, or that isn't a joke.

Pfft. All you missed out on were the plethora of Super-Powered Highschool, Post Apocalyptic, and crummy fantasy games. Even as it matured to constant ISRPs (Which were generally generic settings with little worth participating in) it was still pretty bland. Frankly, few games were worth keeping. Instead of focusing on the constant, mediocre content, why not make actually good stuff?

I don't think the Roleplaying forum has ever been active/actually good during the school-year with few exceptions. Usually things get better in the summer; I can tell because I lurk the most during the summer.

Short stories aren't very interactive because they close and therefore no one can really add in their own little bit, or their own character, but these are good to give people inspiration to do something, like more short stories or an RP Crossover RP is more universal introducing new RPers to the subforum for whatever they want to roleplay as with few limits, if they aren't sure what genre they'd want to choose. Ad-hoc RP is those random bits where you take some lore that was never meant to be an RP, and you spin it into one, usually with no genre or something fitting the original post. I was bored enough to type up this mess. O.O I'm surprised.
