I can't think of any downsides to this ATM, discuss in the comments vvvvvv
It would allow you to set restrictions on who can and can't join your group(s). It would have a broader purpose than just blacklisting people though. I'll explain:
1-> If there's a person who has been joining your group just to troll, or is unwilling to follow the rules you have set for the group, you would be able to prevent them from joining by entering their name in a blacklist. When the blacklisted user goes to hit the "Join Group" button, it would be replaced with a message akin to "You have been blacklisted from this group. You are unable to join." This would be effective for people who want to keep their groups free-to-join, but don't want this specific person(s) to join.
2-> If you would like to blacklist an entire group from joining, you would be able to do this too. You would enter the numerical ID of the group in a group blacklist setting. You would be greeted with a similar message as what is mentioned above. This would be effective for war groups, so you wouldn't have to individually check people's groups to make sure they aren't a spy or something.
3-> If you want there to be an account age restriction for your group, but you don't want to check people's join date individually, you would be able to set this in the group admin page. The setting would say somethin' like "Users must be XXyears/XXmonths/XXdays old to join your group". This would be effective for people who want to keep their groups free-to-join, but don't want n00bs joining their group. Not only that, but it would prevent alts, and if a blacklisted person tries to chisel their way in on an, this would be a fail safe.
I'm sure you see where I am going with this. It would be much easier to maintain organization and exclusivity in certain groups if there was something like this in place to help group owners.
If this is ever adopted, I would expect the RBX web developers to tweak it.
Thoughts and criticism are welcomed.
