I was trying to post a post in the Game Design subforum, and every time I tried to preview the post to see how it looked completely random words and letters would be censored.
And I know for a fact that it's completely random because I went back, edited absolutely nothing, then tried to preview again. This time it went around censoring every instance of the word 'a' along with random words like 'tree'.
I went back, edited nothing again, and tried to preview the post again. And once more completely random words were censored. It blocked the word healing for some reason, along with the word guardian. BECAUSE THAT TOTALLY MAKES SENSE TO FILTER THOSE TWO WORDS. "I'm sorry kiddies, but healing is a BAD word, and we don't want you to have to read that word, oh deary no".
This problem also carries over into games as w##l. I was playing Pokemon Brick Bronze earlier, and the word baby, a, m##e and the letter T in the was turned into hashtags for NO REASON.
At this point it seems like the filter is just completely random.
I do not have safe chat on.
I did not say any bad words or phrases.
I did not say any kind of inappropriate slang.
It was completely random words that were filtered, and Roblox really needs to fix this.
Has anyone else had problems with this yet. |

Oh, and look at that. Make was filtered, but only two letters of it.
AND WHEN I WAS PREVIEWING THE POST, IT WAS NOT FILTERED IN THE PREVIEW. |

Oh man if people has had problems with this. Recently this subforum is (quite understandably) getting filled of these kinds of posts.
Anyway, ROBLOX's censor is QUITE buggy right now, or so it looks like.
For real, censoring a LETTER?

Since when has the filter erased lines, and how would it turn things into paragraphs when all it's doing is turning words and letters into hashtags. |

Also another to note. When I'm playing games and using the Roblox chat, the word beach is filtered around 50% of the time, while the word beachball is never filtered. It's really stupid that beach randomly gets filtered out of the blue, especially since beachball never gets filtered.
AND WHAT'S SO BAD WITH SAYING "Hey, come down to the beach" that you have to filter it half the time in game.

Why did the letter M in maximum get filtered, and the S in single, but the rest of the word is untouched.
What, is M and S inappropriate for a young audience? I realize things can be rated M, but that doesn't mean that you should start filtering the letter M.
And what about S. Why do you not like the letter S Mr. Filter. Is it because it looks like a snake? Are you scared of snakes? Seriously. What is wrong with the filter. |

Every time I make a forum post and the broken filter tries to ruin the post I'm going to come here and complain about it without any context as to what I posted until Roblox decides to fix this stupid filter. |

Cool down but not the C, the letter R in red, the INS of instead along with a space before it, the E in needle(second E to be exact), the P in player, the entirety of the word the with an asterisk in front of it, the O in of.
All of these have been filtered today and turned into hashtags on a forum post that I am still struggling to get to post. It seems that the longer a post is, the worse the filter is.
SERIOUSLY, WHY DO YOU KEEP TARGETING INNOCENT LETTERS IN INNOCENT WORDS. WHY WOULD YOU FILTER THE P IN PLAYERS. Is P a new gang, is it a type of gun, is it a crime to use that letter, does it imply something vulgar anywhere outside of kindergarten, does it relate to some kind of real life hate, exactly WHAT is the reason you thought it was a good idea to censor the letter P in player. |

This is supposed to be a thread making a suggestion to fix the filtering system, so to bump this thread whenever it's not getting attention(BECAUSE THIS PROBLEM DESERVES ATTENTION) I'm gonna bump it with complaints about the incredibly stupid filter and how horribly broken it is with the random hashtags.
