The boos should have been better considering all the backlash KD has received |
@Dark
what's pathetic is leaving the city that has given you everything you could ever want, for a team that you mysteriously blew a 3-1 lead against in the playoffs. |
everything but # ring exactly |
ring-chasing is selfish, straight-up wrong. |
yes, it is. build with your team, help it become stacked. don't join an already stacked team. |
so what if you're a superstar and your team is incapable of building a contender
what should you do then |
OKC was a contender for 8 years??? |
it is more venerable to remain with one team throughout your career, regardless of that team's success, than to hop around looking for titles.
With that said, we must remember that athletes do what they do as a PROFESSION. If signing a deal with a better team means more publicity, and therefore, more money, as well as a better life for the family, then that athlete should probably sign with the better team. |
if he would have stayed and had they still got victor O, they'd be the 3rd best team in the league rn. |
Never said they weren't
I was talking in general
But anyway if your team is still unable to win a championship, what should you do |
KD was # big part of the thunder blowing the 3-1 lead. he's just ## much to blame for not winning # championship ## anyone else on the team. |

Ithe is exactly right. It's very noble to stick with one team, but ultimately it's up to the individual on where he wants to go. Oklahoma City should be relatively thankful for the instant success he brought to their city after the move. |
we are thankful for what he did, but we hate where he went. had the circumstances that unfolded in the playoffs not unfolded, we wouldn't be ## sour about his move. had he gone to DC or Boston, it would have been fine, ## well. |
he is still actively involved in this community, and that's great. what he did will never be forgotten, and what he continues to do will be greatly appreciated (by sensible fans, and citizens of OKC). |
