i was 13 the first 2 months of freshman year
november birthday so my mom put me in a year early (and not long after that, my district made it so that late birthdays had to wait until the next year)

but yeah, pretty hyped actually to enter high school considering i have straight A's now so im practically ready for the difficulty curve academic wise, and im signed up to play tennis next year so ill be playing a sport for the first time since 6th grade

honestly freshman year wasn't NEARLY as different to 8th grade as i thought it would be. especially academically, i was taking honors and still only had a little more workload than 8th grade (1.5-2 hours total per night)

should probably add at certain times. quite a few of the people who are 18+ here do like to #### around and act immature, but obviously overall most adults here end up being more mature when they're acting 100% seriously.
