Hello! We are glad that you're interested in becoming an MR, or contributing to make this group better! We'd like to add new members to our MR team, so they can help out when some are unavailable. Below you will find the ways to become a member of our first MR rank team, the Assistant-Interviewing Team.
While being good at making treats and working hard at the cafe are important characteristics to possess, they are not the determining factors in promotion due to their general lack of uniqueness. After a while, most everyone can get good at serving orders, and when there's time, many people can choose to stay at the cafe for hours. In order to break past this notion about being a great barista, you must begin serving without seeking a reward.
First off, you'll have to be a Senior Baker to be noticed. If you are under this rank, you will not be noticed until you make it to SB. Other than that, you must be diligent, hard-working, active, and friendly, as well as helpful to all those around you to become this rank. You must be exceptional to be noticed by an Assistant Manager+.
If promotion is your motivation or your main goal, there would seem to be no point. It won't get you anywhere. So, try working exceptionally hard without any motivation for a promotion or being noticed. It'll help you improve more.
We would love to accept all the SBs to become MRs, but unfortunately, that can't be done. Only 20 of the best SBs recommended can become an AIT. If you fail your application, do not worry! You can always work again to be noticed by another staff member.
Also, do not hint. Meaning, don't mention how hard you have worked, your customer's compliments, how long you have worked, etc. This can either restrict you from getting AIT permanently, or you can be demoted permanently.
So, if you can follow the guidelines above, you are well on your way to becoming an AIT at The Cake Corner! Best of luck to you all!
