I'm arguing with some people saying it's impossible to dominate a game and still lose Example a team that got outshot 45-12 in hockey and somehow wins DOMINATED the game according to them opinions?

in my opinion: dominating is the exact same as blowing them out, except that domination includes destroying them in pretty much every statistic as well, whereas a blowout can come down to completing scoring chances. so no, you're not dominating just by winning, and you're not dominating if you lose. the team that "dominates" needs to be dominating in the only category that truly matters at the end of the day. No gh0st I'm not saying that. Although hockey is a team sport and the goalie is part of the team. What I am saying is that you can't make that as an excuse to cover up your loss.
