I'm not even sure if I'll be able to speak for the most of this. This being, that anyone of you, the reader(s) could translate Hashtags...
Development Team of ROBLOX, I understand that you are VERY protective about your younger audience, not only protective about ### younger audience, but strict with policies that may dent and safety and qualities of ROBLOX. However, one of these policies is very questionable. I don't know whether I should dictate it as Untested, or Over-Effective...To get to the point...
ROBLOX Development Team, this chat filter is WAY to much. I know that it may, at first, sound like a good thing, but when I go to the Library, and look up an accessory in the Catalog, and it just so happens to be Tag'd, I know I have to voice a conjecture about how effective it is. If it actually comes to the case that I can't find a ROBLOX-Made Accessory in Studio's Toolbox, or the ROBLOX.com (I legitimately had to replace "Web" and "Site") Library due to the over-censorship applied, then I think you have to take a second look at the succession your Chat Filter has made. Not only that, but some words, that I don't even understand why, but are, censored in anything out there, be it, The Forums, Groups, Chats, the Games themselves, and user Inboxes.
I possibly get 10 messages a day, and 6 of 10 of those messages are filled with 'Hi, ##### ###### ###### ## ### ####'. (Purposely using Censor) Hi what? Hi how are you? Hi, are you interested in joining my g##up? Not gonna know if you wall it off with 50 tags and a "Your message has been monitored" shaped cherry on top.
And by all means, let's all be honest that most kids already curse excessively.
(Also, after several times previewing the post, I found "The", "and", "game" and other words to be censored...)
Exhibit A, Under-aged Console Gamers.
Exhibit B, The Internet.
The point being, that this chat filter is way to excessive in what it does, and now, you're forcing game developers, admin scripts, and builders in general, to slap a '#' over every nook and cranny just so it's safe for some 13-year-old kid (Who probably makes jokes of bad material anyways) to play the game.
This website has matured from a playground for kids. It's much more, the ultimate start for younger adolescents interested in the Game Development Career choice. |

Roblox's absolute goal is keep ### site kid-friendly. However, a lot of ### community is over 14 years of age. With Community Sift #### chat filter provider), it kind of forces people ### are more mature to just stop talking whatsoever, which seems to be another goal of theirs. Despite this, outside influences make even younger people use more adult language. So really, there's no way any game can keep being 'kid friendly' at all, especially during this decade. It's practically all one big joke, that being, it's just funny.
Games like Phantom Forces, and "Blood and Iron" can easily be noticed for having some mature content. I'm surprised they don't give up with this Chat Sift...Besides, doesn't that negate certain parts in our First Amendment? It's censoring what we have to say... |

It doesn't go against the Constitution, because ROBLOX doesn't work for the government, and they're not even associated with the government. It only violates our right to free speech if the government had any part in the censorship.
