Well, recently on ### forums, I've seen a lot of threads about ### "horrible" filter. While it is bad, there is a reason why it can not be controlled. First of all, ### ROBLOX filter runs on a third party service named, "Community Sift". You may also see ### same filter on games like Animal Jam and other online games. Anyways, ROBLOX didn't actually program their own chat filter. They used Community Sift. So far, they've had to pay them almost 7 million dollars just to use ### filter. Anyways, that's how ### filter works. If you ##### believe me, search "Community Sift" on Google and in their description it'll talk about serving ROBLOX as a new client and tons of other online networks. In conclusion, it isn't really ROBLOX's fault. They thought it would be a good idea to use Community Sift as a filter. Not that I like ### filter, but you can't really expect them to change it unless they start listening to their users.

animal jam and club penguin's filters actually aren't that bad. they don't filter random words like roblox does. i'm not really sure about this, but i think their filter picks from a list of inappropriate words, so i never had trouble when i used to play cp. idk what's up with roblox's filter. it just seems to be picking random stuff cause i just keep getting ##### and "a" filtered
