How do you create a looping sky?

If you were animating a plane and you wanted to imitate movement with a moving background how would you create it.

You'd get the plane in front of a lime green brick and then record that, then somehow edit a background onto the green spots behind the plane (and windows). I don't use Sony Vegas myself but that's how it'd be done. I'm sure there'd be a tutorial on it somewhere. Try searching how to make a greenscreen background on sony vegas.
