[UNITED STATES MILITARY] [DESK OF THE COMMANDER IN CHIEF] Date: 23 February 2017 SUBJ: Aviation Policy Purpose: This policy outlines the rules for flight at any and all warzones, bases, and joint exercises with allies of USM. Action: All flight officers and noncommissioned officers will abide by this doctrine. Along with any members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. [TABLE OF CONTENTS] [1] Basic Rules [2] Punishment P1: Authorized flight divisions are as followed: Marine Air Command, Naval Aviation, United States Air Force, Coast Guard Aviation, and Army 1st Air Cavalry Officers, Paygrades O-1 through O-10, are the only pilots allowed to use Armed/Transport planes/helicopters in combat. Noncommissioned Officers, Paygrades E-6 through E9, are only allowed to fly unarmed aircraft. All pilots must have permission to fly either from their flight divisions CO's/XO's or from a United States Air Force flag officer. The officer that gives permission to the pilot must be in game, that means permission cannot be given over skype, messages, or any other form of communication Only a flag officer, Paygrade O-7+, from the specified flight divisions may authorize flights for members of their aviation. If the Pilots flag officer is not present then a superior Air Force flag officer can authorize flight if USM is losing. ALL pilots are to return when told to do so by a flag officer of their unit or of the United States Air Force The pilot must be 100% without a doubt sure that his or her actions will not harm USM or coalition forces. Failure to meet this and or intentionally harming USM Forces will lead to the demotion to E-1, and possible discharge from their branch and aviation command. Armed Aircraft are only allowed to take off w/ permission into a attack mission during a raid when requested. Armed Aircraft are allowed to take off w/ permission into a patrol mission but cannot fire on any hostile until given the order to rain lead. United States Air Force Pilots have the right to shoot down anyone w/permission not complying to the rules, with evidence. No more than 2 Jets can be in the sky without permission from JCS+ P2 At any point if you are found to be in violation of these rules, you may be demoted, strip########our commision, dishonorably discharged, and or exiled from the United States Military. There is Zero tolerance for the breaking of this policy. Regardless of grade, all aviators are responsible for their own actions in the air.
