[FL] Freezing Legion | Guidelines
----Overview----
SECTION I- Universal Rules
SECTION II- Base Rules
SECTION III- Training Rules
SECTION IV- Admin Abuse
SECTION I- Universal Rules
These rules apply to when you are representing Freezing Legion, whether this be on the training, fort, or off of the group places, like on the chat wall and our forums.
1) No flaming towards one another. | Sometimes people may flame when angry, but never direct it to anyone. This be on the F###o##ms, group chat wall, or anywhere dealing with FL.
###2) If orders are given, follow them to the exact letter. | If an officer gives a command, it is your job to follow that command.
3) Do not excessively use abbreviations such as BRB or GTG or IDK, etc. | As they may be easier to type, we would like to be known for our communication skills as much as our fighting skills.
4) Use grammar at all times if possible. | Do this, and it will become a habit. If you are a slow typer, then go use a typing improvement site if you need.
5) No packages. | We do not use such packages as 2.0, and ESPECIALLY NOT 3.0. (Personal note: the ###reme Commander thinks that 3.0 is nasty looking.)
6) Call anyone above your rank sir or ma'am. | Ranks higher than you have earned the rank and respect to be called sir or ma'am. This especially being in an HR rank+.
7) Do not advertise anything on any ## affiliated places, be on a fort or on ### chat wall. | We understand advertising something that could be useful to ### or advertising an alliance with ### but don't go directly to your group. Don't abuse the exceptions.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SECTION II- Fort Rules
These rules are especially for the fort. Obey these rules AND the rules of SECTION I.
1) Do not flame, raider or FL. | This lowers the reputation of our group and yourself.
2) Wear the uniform at all times. | If you can not afford it, wear blue or black.
3) DO NOT wear white or blue (the color of the terrain) at all on the fort. | This is considered cheating, as that means you are blending in with the ground.
4) Kick raiders two minutes after a defense ends. | Victorious or not, let them have their celebration, then get them out of there.
5) No morphs on the fort. | Again, the commander doesn't like 3.0. Use 1.0.
6) Raids are only valid with 6 FL present, as well as six raiders. | If raiders flood without 6 FL, then they will be shutdown.
7) Do not admin abuse on the fort. | This is mainly directed to the officers. More detail in section IV.
8) No spawnkilling. | Raiders punishment: kick. FL p##ishment: demotion. There is no greater crime than dirtying the ###utation of Freezing Legion.
9) Do not advertise on the fort, unless for an alliance. | The only exception for advertising on our fort is if you are advertising for a potential alliance.
10) Do not excessively camp a position | Sometimes you may find a perfect spot- no one can really get you down, but you can get as many of the enemy as you want- at a certain point it is excessive.
11) Do not use the tops of the ice when raiding | The tops of the ice walls were not meant to be used as an area to camp. This also goes along with R10 SECTION II.
12) A defense may only be voided on agreement by both FL and the invading group. | There must be a valid reason, as well as both Freezing Legion and the raiding group in agreement for voiding.
*Voiding a raid basically means both sides do not count it towards their statistics.
13) Do not uniform raid. | Do not wear the Freezing Legion main uniform or any Freezing Legion official uniform while raiding, as it is deceptive and faking your role as a soldier.
14) Do not "bunny hop." | This specifically is holding down th###pace bar while being attacked and jump at least four times in a row without stopping. Freezing Legion soldiers will be demoted if they do this, as it is an embarrassing tactic.
--------------------------
SECTION III- Training rules
Use these especially at training, as they do not apply anywhere else in Freezing Legion. Also obey the laws of SECTION I.
1) Use sir and ma'am for instructors. | This co-exists with law R6 SECTION I.
2) Respect your trainers. | If they give you an order, respect their judgement.
3) Use Permission to Speak at all times until ordered otherwise. | Do not say,"PTS?" Say "Permission to speak sir?"
4) Obey all orders to the letter. | Co-exists with law R2 SECTION I.
5) Do not complain about not being promoted. | Sometimes you will do well enough to be promoted, sometimes you will not. Just accept what you receive and stay loyal.
6) Do not admin abuse. | This is mainly towards the officers. Again, it will detail this in SECTION IV.
7) Do not favoritize. | This is also mainly towards the officers. Favoritism is not right. Promote those who have earned it, not those who are your "friends".
8) Participate in voting. | High ranks will ask for voting on maps. If you are going to prefer one map, you better tell the host when he or she asks.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SECTION IV- Admin Abuse Among High Ranks
This is only for the officers to obey. Note to officers: Obey this and the high rank rules. This is not a numbered section.
High ranks, sometimes we like to get away from our disciplined, strict sides a bit and tend to mess around. Trust me, I know this. I was one of those high ranks in Electro Legion, but most of the time. I was.. an interesting character then. Back on topic. At these times, we get anxious, and feel our "troll" sides coming out. Heh. We feel like messing around a bit, and then it goes from there. There is a line that you must catch yourselves at, though. I do understand how hard it can be not to use the admin for... fooling around. However, this must be controlled, granted that you have a job to do. You earned it, now you must respect the power given to you.
Where is the line?
The line starts when you use sizes, and nothing lower than that. The accepted use of admin is control commands- :kick, :ban (if necessary), :mute, :m (only at training), :pm, :h, :n. As well as, th###ther commands like :tp, :bring, or :ff. These used will be in moderation, as they can be used in th###rong way.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Remember, of all these laws, the worst thing as a Freezing Legion soldier that you could do is dishonor our reputation as a strong, mature, disciplined family.
