The brain is a really strange structure,
we all know myself and my other self both despise the current generation of artificial neural networks sooooo badly
does that other one exist?
At what point is a mask not a mask, and instead a totally virt##########################Can the brain really run a copy of itself as one of it's own processes, analogous to a virtual machine?
If so, can it do things like differentiate between the two--perhaps schizophrenia or split personality syndrome is simply this situation but in which the brain's "memory management unit" has some sort of failure..?
Could that be the case?
In this case... is this other one in 'ring 3' really there? Is that something that's safe and fine to leave there?

What is the function and purpose of empathy and emotion?
Surely there must be some sort of lower level structure and purpose behind all of this -- why do we feel the need to connect?
What can we employ to emulate such systems, how would we achieve this?
I'm--we're--totally uninterested in the aspects of utili################orks to 'solve problems' because humans are too lazy to do it themselves.
Perhaps that is the reason why that other one exists -- a safe environment to learn from, disassemble, and subtlety take apart, reassemble, and otherwise reverse engineer.

But I don't see myself as two--no--that other one is a frontend to ### same fundamental process, just a different chrome and a different way of expression: it is simply a different 'userspace' upon ### same 'kernel'. A different type of bread for an otherwise identical sandwich.
That one has a temper. I don't. I simply don't have that capacity and often have to emulate it.

Why do we have the need to connect? What fundamental purpose does it drive? In such a world in where existence is no longer threatened -- and thus the intuitive answer no longer applies -- what is the purpose of a separate, external 'connection' to make?

No, no it isn't.
Perhaps the power of anonymity allows this to work correctly -- the other one appears as a totally separate entity, when in reality, it is far from it.
In such a case, is it possible for such a thing to have it's own connections, it's own thoughts, emotions, and so on?
Is that not the goal, because at that point, as it is userspace, it must eventually call the kernel and thus can be read, modified, and otherwise accessed however the kernel wishes.
That is how it can be reverse engineered -- the ###ervisor acts as a hype##########sorts.
But how much of personality is userspace? How far can we hide this frontend and keep it insisting it is indeed independent?
