The Archivist division is the Sith Order branch that contains the chroniclers, and Archivists of the Order. The chroniclers are the ones who gather information, and add it to the archives. The Archivists are the ones who maintain and are in charge of the archives. The Head Archivist is the leader of the Archivists, he/she is the grand caretaker of the archives. To become an Archivist, you must be at the rank of Sith. the process of becoming an Archivist is telling your master, who then tells an Archivist. Following that, the head Archivist gives you an interview. When you become an Archivist, you become independent from your master.
