A Joint Resolution to Establish CPAC (Congressional Public Advisory Committee)
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF ROCKPORT CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1. The Congressional Public Advisory Committee (CPAC) will be established.
SECTION 2. CPAC shall consist of three (3) Representatives and three (3) Senators. One of the six shall be voted, nominated, or appointed to be Chairman or Chairwoman of the Committee.
SECTION 2a. The Congressional Public Advisory Committee is responsible for addressing the public in times of civil unrest, and receive feedback in order to influence law-making, hence creating a safer state.
SECTION 3. The Speaker of the House and Lieutenant Governor are responsible for appointing the Representatives/Senators into the committee. An exception can be made, if the Lieutenant Governor is unable to appoint the Senators, the President pro tempore may do so.
SECTION 4. Upon passage, this legislation shall go into effect immediately.
SECTION 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
