Two months ago you, the American people, put your trust in me to serve as your Representative in Congress. I am proud that my term in Congress was one of transparency, accountability, and giving you a voice in our legislative process. I've accomplished a lot within this term, and that's why I plan to continue the accomplishments I've made thus far, and seek another term in Congress.
In Congress, I consistently stood for peace, and by the working class, and my voting record reflects that. I sought to uphold stability abroad and stand against actions that would lead us into unnecessary conflict with other nations, no matter how the rest of Congress voted. I want to continue to be a voice for peace and the working class in Congress.
During my Congressional term, every single bill that I presented was submitted to me by an American citizen, and I frequently spoke with the people of our nation, to make sure you knew what I was doing in Congress and where I stood on important issues. I held a town hall to take questions from the public regarding Congress and the state of our nation as a whole. I plan to continue to listen to what you have to say, and to bring those ideas to the House floor.
Transparency was of utmost importance to me during my term. My entire voting record, record of bills presented, and reasoning for voting the way I did, was available on a Trello, so that you were always aware of my actions in Congress. In Congress I also had the privilege of serving on the House Committee on Domestic and Foreign Policy, where I, and the entirety of the Committee, voted on bills regarding national security, and the military, and foreign affairs.
