Yesterday night, Masqued has after nearly 2 years, raided two sword clans that for a change have been heard of in the sword clan community. Due to how the community had deteriorated into relative chaos with back stabbings leading to hackings and clan leaders usually cheating to achieve victory, I and my long retired council members decided to scrape the bottom of the barrel and raid and take in small clans that would require assistance to grow, essentially making Masqued the patron of many small time clans and several known sword groups that had existed throughout the period such as Vultarus Sovereign, The Hawk Confederation, Horizon Nation, Xaxius Empire, Zentex and etc.
For 3 years, our Empire has built many of the sword clan leaders that came but Masqued would remain as a supporting structure as we watched our apprentices strive towards goals we too once fought for in the past. However, for the past week I have been watching and interacting with different communities, both guns and swords to see what has changed so that not only Masqued but I can also adapt to current times.
Masqued has not been a super power in a long time, our name relatively forgotten and fearful to a few. Our numbers shortened due to lack of recruitment and the passing of many heroes who are no longer with us on our journey.
Which is why, for the survival of Masqued, for the integration of this new age, Masqued will strive to reclaim it’s place amongst the best as it had before and the new generation of Masqued will finally get to relive a bit of our old glories.
The path that we take now will be filled with many trials and errors. It is without a doubt that Masqued will be going through it’s hardest times yet as our strong warrior community must fight against quantitative number Right now Masqued can rally 10-15, but that is nothing compared to our golden age. We will rally forth ### ### ### ### ###0. Disciplined, skilled and hopefully as loyal as all of you are. I have appointed several people to be apart of the Parliament who shall advise me on the new methods of things and projects we can aspire to. The ranks and Codex will be edited again and a struggle that will have many losses and victories will begin today.
Caverns shall be the new hotspot to numerous raids of any sword clan who wishes to raid. We invite a challenge and we shall not stand down a fight. Masqued will be accepting defenses from 7.30PM GMT - 9-30PM GMT. Raids will also become a hell of a lot more frequent.
This time I will wholeheartedly push towards making these changes. No long can I half push towards changes that I personally do not agree with. Once again, Masqued shall throw away the old and remember, and embrace the new and prosper from it.
