[Ranking]
Ranking will be similar to in the Naruto anime. Once Genin, you'll be put on a 3 man squad. You'll be assigned a Jonin squad captain, and you'll be put through training for a period of time. Time will vary on how much you progress in your skills.
Once Chunin you'll be allowed to assist in trainings, but not host. You'll also be assigned some solo missions, but you'll still be apart of your assigned squad.
At Jonin, you can leave your squad. You'll be allowed to teach academy with the permission of the Hokage, and you can be assigned to lead a squad.

[Anbu Ranking]
In order to have a chance at Anbu, you must be at least Jonin rank. You must be skilled to the point where the Anbu Captain notices you, and offers to train you to become an Anbu of the Hidden Leaf. As an Anbu, you're expected to act somewhat mature, and follow out your missions to the end.

[Council Ranking]
In order to have a chance at Council, you must be at least Jonin Rank. You must be mature, and pretty good at making decisions. You must've been part of the Leaf for a long time, and have a good past history. Only the Hokage may pick Council members. If promoted to Council, you're expected to act mature around all players of Naruto Online.
