Personally I feel Discord *NEEDS* to be mandatory, due to several reason which will be stated below.
- Discord overall can help us communicate better in raids, defenses or trainings rather than us being in teamchat communication. Even if you don't have a microphone, you still need to get it. If you have no microphone you may speak in teamchat to use the communication signals and whatnot, and so can people with microphones. However it's easier to speak.
- Officers without Discord make it harder to communicate with them for meetings. It was thought that I would make it mandatory for Officers to use Discord, but making it mandatory for the entire community strengthens it and makes it larger overall.
- Discord requires no download. While you can download it, it's not required a download. You can easily go to the website and sign up and use Discord from there. If you want to unlock certain features you can download it. You're also able to download it on your phone. If you're worried it'll give you a 'virus' it won't, but like stated above, you do not need to download it to use it, unlike TeamSpeak or Raidcall.
- Making it mandatory can strengthen the community and make it larger overall; and this is something we need, to strengthen and enlarge our community.
- Activity will grow; yes, you heard right. Discord can actually help grow activity.

However, not having Discord will risk you a demotion or even exile within the Imperium.
