From the Office of the Chief Justice of the United States,
By the authority vested in me under 28 U.S. Code § 294, I hereby designate and assign the Honorable Justice Ryan_Revan, who retired from the Supreme Court in good standing on September 28, 2015, to active service in any and all of the federal district courts of the United States, which for the purposes of this order are considered to fall under a single circuit. Justice Ryan_Revan may perform any and all actions normally undertaken by a federal district judge, including but not limited to arraignment, adjudication of criminal and civil proceedings, and issuance of court orders and subpoenas. He shall be assigned to the active service herein until he willingly relinquishes, or until the revocation of, this designation; additionally, for the duration of this assignment, he shall be held to the same standards as federal district judges in terms of refraining from practicing as an attorney.
