I'm trying to message my friend but whenever I type "1" "2" or an number at all it censors it, im not sure whats so inappropriate about numbers

What you are doing with this Filter System is Disgusting... why would you blame your entire community and punish them for something a Few Bad Apples are doing by being Offensive with their words... Don't Punish the innocent for what the guilty do punish the Guilty for being Guilty. |

Roblox is working to fix the tagged non-inappropriate words. But the Community Sift is working too to help fix, since roblox is a kid's game, you might experience some post format failures (if one word is hashtagged, the whole paragraph format will be messed up). I do support removing hashtags, it is making even worse to players.

Roblox relies on the terrible filter to prevent new and young users from becoming too smart.
Things like numbers could potentially teach kids math, then that will spiral down to them realizing Roblox makes poor choices in updates. No support Roblox needs to look good so they can be greedy and hog all our money effortlessly.

Admins have been informed of this. They're working on it.
As of right now, individual numbers are censored for 13+ and 12- accounts, though that's expected to change in the future to possibly only censor numbers if the player includes age. |

The Solution is so easy a Handicapped Monkey could have figured it out in his sleep -.-' roblox needs to Filter Vulgar/Offensive words and Silently Flag the rest of what they find offensive so only they themselves get an alert when someone is using one or to many of these phrases/words/sentences in Succession that way they can Zero in on the Specific User Offending instead of Punishing the entire Community for their lack of intelligence -.-' |

^ It's not that simple when you look at how hard the parents have cracked down as compared to the past. Sensitive words can, and used to be, easily bypassed. The new filter system tries to filter out racial slurs, etc, and anything related to them in the following sentence (thus why when a bad word is said, more "good words" get censored out in the following sentence, resulting in a big blob of number signs.) Reality is Roblox has expanded so far that these parents and Roblox themselves are still trying to catch up... and Roblox is always 1 step behind.
If you want someone to blame, blame the whole ########### thing that came from the U.K. and spread all around the news, causing parents to kick their children off Roblox and start to think that some sort of ######### chain was going around on Roblox, of which us users know did not exist. And they still seem to believe it, idespite of what Roblox has done to the filter system for them. Thus, Roblox is always trying to play catchup. Blame the parents. |
