Are they too dominant? Saw a video on YouTube.
I'm going to have to go with no. I think it is always good for a league to have 1-3 great teams that will always make the playoffs, because those are the teams everyone knows a lot about. If you have completely new teams on a consistent basis, there are no villains, no jealously, no hierarchy to overthrow
UConn women's basketball is bad for NCAAW, though. That's a whole different story. |

But people don't want to see the same time winning the championship multiple years in a row
So in a way it's kinda bad for football |

As a lifetime pats fan, I am going to say no. A team could never be "too dominant" and even if they were they would only be for 2-3 years. The reason that the pats are always good is that we have a good system. We have a very smart coach that can turn lacrosse players and golf players into prime NFL players. But once bill leaves I don't know were the patriots will go. |

For example, look at the seahawks they used to be very good but now they're slowing down. |

The Patriots have been very dominant for the last decade
I don't see how they aren't dominant |

Nah I watch La Liga and that would be saying Real and Barca are bad for soccer...
No... |

Barca and Real are more dominant in soccer than the Patriots are in football |

Teams can compete with Patriots, that was proven in the superbowl, game was insane and went into OT for the first time in SB history, yes both halves of the game were 1 sided basically but still. |

I think people merely form these types of notions out of jealousy. The Pats may perhaps be the most dominant team right now, but let's not forget that the status they currently hold isn't permanent. There will probably come a time when the Patriots no longer hold this status, and when other teams may come to posses it. (I don't say that in a bashful or despising manner; I've got nothing against the Pats. I'm merely speculating the possibilities.)

I don't think so. They're dominant, sure, but that usually happens. I think the issue however is that they seem to still get all the talent, partly because of Brady's contract. Would be way less of an issue if the AFC could provide any contest |
