Be it enacted by the United States Senate; PREAMBLE Senate Resolution 9001 In order to protect our democracy this Senate Resolution will be removing the 'Point of Order' motion as well as defining an 'Emergency Session' in the Senate is and when it can be used. This is to prevent Preisdent's from abusing the Emergency Session power to pass nominees without a fair approval. Some President's now and in the past have abused the Emergency Session power to pass their nominations and bills through by only informing their "friendly Senators" and leaving opposition out of it, preventing debates and democracy. ARTICLE I - Point of Order 1. The Senate Resolution regarding the Point of Order shall be repealed with immediate effect. ARTICLE II - Emergency Session 1.
