This document explains the many responsibilities of multiple positions here at Greenhouse and will help you achieve a better understanding of how the team (from Interns to the President(s)) work together at the Cafe. Ranks: [HR]President & Chief Executive Officer [HR]Vice President [HR]Senior Vice Presidents (SVP's & VP ARE The Board of Directors) [HR]Chief Development Officers [HR]Chief Operational Officers [HR]Chief Human Resources Officers (Chief Staff Officers) [MR]General Managers [MR] Shift Leaders [MR] Crew Trainers [MR] Interviewers [LR] Partnered Representatives [LR]Senior Baristas [LR]Junior Baristas [LR]Novice Baristas [LR]Interns [LR]Noted Customers [LR]Customers Position Descriptions [Low Ranks]: Interns - Interns are the individuals of whom have passed their Interview's, and are ready to continue onto the next part of the progress (Training at the Training Centre) to become a"Novice Barista" and help out with the Greenhouse Community.Before they become such, they must pass their training. Barista's - A Novice Barista is the first official rank that makes you part of the Greenhouse Staff.This rank must use their skills they've acquired and learnt in Training to help customers through the process of ordering.The following two ranks,"Junior Barista" and,"Senior Barista" are quite similar to the Novice Barista, but the higher ranking words show that you are especially skilled and quite helpful at pitching in and helping out with customers, as well as extremely active at the Cafe. Partnered Representative - A Partnered Representative is a person chosen to act or speak for an allied company of Greenhouse. [Mid Ranks]: Interviewers - Interviewers are the staff at Greenhouse who assess the qualities and attributes of aspiring Interns (Interviewees) while the interviews are held.They are extremely important additions to the team.Take a look at the Session Hosting Guide (Coming Soon) to understand how, and when to interview aspiring Interns.Interview's report to the Human Resources Officers daily. Crew Trainers - A Crew Trainer is the next step up from an Interviewer, and just like the latter role, a Crew Trainer is a key aspect of running the Cafe. Our Crew Trainer's are responsible for training our Interns at the Training Centre for day-to-day work serving customers, dealing with trollers and working as a good addition to the team..Take a look at the Session Hosting Guide (Coming Soon) to understand how, and when to train aspiring Novice Baristas.Crew Trainer's report to the Human Resources Officers daily. Shift Leaders - Shift Leaders job is to help provide support and direction to lower ranking staff (But this does NOT mean you go around, bossing about people, take a look at the Code of Conduct (COMING SOON)) and could also be classed as an "Assistant Manager" who works alongside Greenhouse Barista's at the Cafe, as well as helps out with any minor problems at the Cafe.Shift Leader's can also help with Interviews, and Training, as well as Events and they report and follow the orders of the General Managers. General Managers - The General Managers, as well as having to do important matters such as overseeing Greenhouse's operations on a day-to-day basis; Training, Interviews and Event Days (for example) the General Managers also have to follow the direct orders of any, and all HR's and report to them daily.The General Manager's host Training's, Event's and Interviews, and are in charge of giving orders to the Shift Leaders.They report directly to their higher ranking co-workers (HR's). [High Ranks]: Chief Human Resources Officers (CHRO) - The Chief Human Resources Officers is an extremely important job these Officers are responsible for organising matters such as Event Days, Training's and Interviews (from Interns to General Managers).Though the CHRO's are in charge of hiring, they also regulate any compliance, as well as being in charge of firing staff, and monitor any violation of rules. As well as this, they are in charge of the Crew Trainer's, and the Interviewing Team to make sure Greenhouse is hiring people properly.The Chief Human Resources Officer's reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.Additionally, only ONE of these Officers sits on the Board of Directors. Chief Operation Officers (COO) - The Chief Operation Officers are responsible for Greenhouse's daily operations (from events to marketing).They personally oversee events and work with all members of staff to keep the Cafe running strategically and quickly.In short, they make things happen.The Chief Operation Officer's reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Finance & Operations, which is their HoD. Chief Development Officers (CDO) - A Chief Development Officer's job is to make sure the Cafe (and it's games) look good, and a working efficiently and that Greenhouse is making reliable revenue through things such as clothing and game passes.They are also responsible for Advertisements. The Chief Development Officer's reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. Senior Vice President (SVP (Communications) - The Senior Vice President of Communications is responsible for communications to a wide range of peoples, such as the media, as well as group's community.As well as this, they understand situations from a customer's point of view and make sure the customers have an enjoyable time at Greenhouse, therefore building a positive reputation for the company.They bring future goals and priorities into the account of their co-workers and are also responsible for meeting and accepting possible allies.They also make a faction of the Board of Directors. The SVP of Finance & Operations and the VP.The Senior Vice President of Communications reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. Senior Vice President (SVP (Finance & Operations) - The Senior Vice President of Finance & Operations is responsible for the economical side of the group or, in short," bringing in the big bucks" quickly and efficiently.They are responsible for bringing in ideas from their fellow SVP and carry them out into effect with the help of the Chief Operation Officers, of whom this SVP is in charge of.They are accountable for designing as well as implementing effective business strategies, plans and procedure.They also make a faction of the Board of Directors along with the SVP of Communications and the VP.The Senior Vice President of Finance & Operations reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. Vice President (VP) - The Vice President is responsible for helping and supporting the President with their daily workload and is also in charge of overseeing the company when the President is not current.As well as this, they also oversee their chosen division (Development, Human Resources etc).They also make a faction of the Board of Directors.The VP reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. President & Chief Executive Officer (PACEO) - The President & Chief Executive Officer is the leader of Greenhouse, and is responsible for creating, communicating and implementing the company's vision, mission, and overall direction by guiding, directing and evaluating the Senior and Administrative team to do so.The PACEO also makes a faction of the Board of Directors and have the last and final authoritative vote. -Greenhouse Administrative Team
