i dont really think there are critics, at least not within the confines of the more sensible side of C&G. i mean sword clans in general arent really held that highly, but it's easy to see that royal blood is doing a lot better than it was a while back. |

that's not really why i talk down on sword clans. it's more along the lines of them being bland. sword fighting in general is somewhat bland itself but what really gets me is actually the raiding aspect. it's a clash of dozens of members usually conducted at quite a large map with no checkpoints of any sort and terminal that must be held for a collective of 20 minutes..

maybe im stereotyping here, but that's been my experience with nearly every major sword clan ive sacrificed time to. |

i dont think sword clans would feel oppressed considering that some sword clans are doing better than many gun clans
i mean considering that, id say c&g's negative opinion on sword clans isnt really oppressing them since it's not hurting them |

granted there are differences in skill when it comes to swords but given the sheer number of participants mixed together in this overwhelming clash of ####### there's only so much they can do on their own. it becomes the waft of group effort that usually concludes based on the terminal and sheer size of the map. |

i wasnt really reffering to skill since thats not comparable just because 2 dif weapons
moreso talking about how the top tier sword clans could definitely rival top gun clans in terms of activity, stability, community, and leadership (last one could be argued but a clan like rb has ran for the better part of 6 years, and that is definitely good leadership) |

that comment wasnt directed towards you OO. im definitely aware of all the things you mentioned. it still doesnt change my feelings towards the sub genre as a whole in regards of being bland. |

i wouldnt really call them bland but rather basic that is why many people find swords fun but also why many prefer other things and i dont think people outside of swords >all< hate them (bunch of people used to sword fight) but a good portion of c&g does so it appears everyone doesnt like swords or whatevsr anyway im goig 2 ### |

you make a good point, but something that is too basic could be considered bland. i mean its basic nature CAN be seen as a driving force for fun or a force to drive people to another genre of war clans entirely all depending on the players themselves.
on another note, i wasnt necessarily implying that they were hated, i was implying those who frequent this subforum dont really jump at the thought of them. if you get the point im trying to make. |
