If you are active in Manomous, you're most likely aware of some big changes that have recently happened. This is to answer a lot questions I have been getting. If you weren't aware, I'll let you know what's been happening.
Almost a week ago, We had a HR meeting talking about some problems in the group. All the HRs were asked if they wanted to be a HR still, and Pandarez asked to step down. He said he was having a hard time balancing school, personal life, work, and roblox. His fear was that he was getting too inactive to be considered helpful to the group. It was a decision he made, he didn't do anything wrong, and chad wasn't angry with him.
On 4/2, Me and Chad talked on Discord for a while, he let me know he needed to step down from Overlord. He told me he could no longer handle the stress of running a group added to his normal day to day stress. Insider info, his schedule was this:
Wake up (He’s been suffering from sleep paralysis lately, if you know what that is, you know why im telling you this), Morning stuff, Go directly on the computer to do online classes, Host a training, Build, script, upkeep the group, ect, Host another training, play some games, go to sleep (He suffers from insomnia so after tossing and turning for hours). Soon he will also be attending college full time, after that enlisting in the armed forces.
We didn't know what to do with the group for a while, it was between shutting it down completely, putting it in hibernation, or promoting a Warlord. He left it up to Me (Marsk), Lazy, and Purg. We talked about it for a while, this morning (4/3) i accepted control of the clan.
Purgatory then later this afternoon said he also needed to step down due to balancing school, driving, and a job (Hopefully full time to help support his family).
Knock on wood Lazy doesn't step down, but there's still some day left.
Hopefully this cleared some stuff up. All of these people have impacted not only the clan but also my life personally more than i can express, and it truly, deeply saddens me to know that someday we may not talk very much. They will all most likely pop in from time to time, so don't worry too much. It would mean a lot to me if you sent some kind words to Pandarez, PurgatorySouls, and ChadZer. Even a simple PM or a thank you on Discord on in call would be appreciated to these deserving guys.
Finally, I promise as new Overlord, to run Manomous according to my best judgement, and the best judgment of those around me. I will follow in Chad’s footsteps, and lead lead by his example. No matter what situations arise, I will not let Manomous fail!
