Dipping carefully below the trees, I landed, cautious of the close fitting trees.
I was, however, careless with the Soul beasts.
Before I could even think about drawing in my wings, they were pinned to the grounds, small claws sending spikes of pain through the thin flight scales that webbed between the skeletal form of my wings. Roaring in frustration and pain, I whipped my head around, trying to find a way to get at on without harming myself. |
