I am sure you guys have already seen many threads about people whining about how they have "no money to buy anything and they get bullied cause of that". The people that ask for a starting amount of robux. Which Roblox will not add cause it's easily abusable. This is why I came up with the idea for a temporary currency. Like R$
U get X of this new currency when you join
You recieve a new tab to purchase items with this currency
Like robux when tix where still a thing, you have the option of what you want to buy X item with tix or R$
This currency could only be spent on ROBLOX items,
Meaning you can not buy user items so you can not inflate the community
The currency will disappear in X amount of days
Currency can not be bought nor traded |

it could be abused, let's say a new player gets 100 robux, and people make them to buy gear off their games. so yeah, still support though, just tweak this.

The problem is, ROBLOX is a company, and in order for them to survive as a company as well as spend *more* money to be able to continue developer payouts for their hard work and being the sole support of their website traffic, they have to make extra money. And if you think getting rid of developer payouts is the solution, think again. Devs can (and probably would) go on strike, causing many top-page games to disappear, and the website will begin to lose that aforementioned web traffic. At that point, the payouts will come back, and we'll be back in the same place we started...
Although it would be nice to get a free currency on join so noobs can get items, it's not too ideal for ROBLOX in the long run, which is what they have to deal with now. This is why 6-month and lifetime BC memberships have been eliminated across the board. That's the sad reality people tend to forget about ROBLOX. |
